Zooey Deschanel is going from "New Girl" to single girl -- she and her rock star husband Ben Gibbard have separated ... Zooey's rep tells TMZ. The split was "mutual and amicable" and there was "no third party involved" ... according to US Weekly.
Deschanel and Gibbard -- lead singer for the band Death Cab for Cutie -- were married in 2009.
